I taught accounting at San Diego Technical College in San Diego from 1997 to 2014. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 490 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Sánchez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
