Ms. Samarasinghe
37 years teaching Spanish in Negombo
- 🇱🇰 Negombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- St. Anne's Academy
- 1998 to 2010
- English, Sinhala, Spanish
I taught Spanish at St. Anne's Academy in Negombo from 1998 to 2010. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I ran the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Ms. Samarasinghe
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Ms. Samarasinghe: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
