I taught history at Ashford Technical College in Bogor from 1978 to 1991. Most days I taught Year 10, and my door was open at lunch.
I ran the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
More about Ms. Salim
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
