Ms. Salim
Early years teacher at Jakarta Barat Public School, 1992 to 2012
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta Barat, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- 1992 to 2012
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 20 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Salim
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Salim: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
