I teach Spanish at Harmony High School in Thika since 1995. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
Over the years I've had 1,270 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Ms. Salim: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
