I taught environmental science at Phoenix Secondary School in Lapu-Lapu from 1985 to 2015. Most days I taught Year 7, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 1,080 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Salazar
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
