I teach computer science and English literature at Oakwood Girls' School, Phuket. I learn every name in the first week. Over the years I've had 1,220 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Ms. Saelim

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
