I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 26 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
