Ms. Ruiz

Home economics and art teacher, Riverside

🇺🇸 Riverside, California, United States
Riverside Girls' School
Since 1989
English

I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 37 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Ms. Ruiz

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Ms. Ruiz: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
