For 14 years I was the special education teacher at San Miguel de Tucumán Girls' School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 350 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Ruiz
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Ruiz: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
