I taught geography at Los Angeles Girls' School in Los Angeles from 2011 to 2019. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I never turned anyone away.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
More about Ms. Rojas
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
