Ms. Rogers
Retired computer science teacher from Detroit Secondary School
- 🇺🇸 Detroit, Michigan, United States
- Detroit Secondary School
- 1990 to 2018
- English, French
For 28 years I was the computer science teacher at Detroit Secondary School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 760 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Ms. Rogers: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
