Ms. Rivera
15 years teaching history in Newcastle upon Tyne
- 🇬🇧 Newcastle upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom
- Phoenix Middle School
- 1979 to 2011

For 32 years I was the history teacher at Phoenix Middle School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Ms. Rivera
If you were in my Grade 11 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Ms. Rivera: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me history in 1995 at Phoenix Middle School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays. Truly.
