I taught social studies at San Diego Middle School in San Diego from 2014 to 2023. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 430 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Ms. Rivera: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
