I taught French at Corpus Christi Technical College in Corpus Christi from 1994 to 2008. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 420 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Ms. Rivera: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
