Ms. Rivera
16 years teaching environmental science in Burnaby
- 🇨🇦 Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada
- Burnaby Public School
- 1994 to 2012
- English, French
For 18 years I was the environmental science teacher at Burnaby Public School. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 470 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Rivera
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Rivera: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
