I taught physical education at Medellín High School in Medellín from 2004 to 2019. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 510 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Ms. Ríos: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
