I taught history and geography at Tuxtla Gutiérrez Grammar School, Tuxtla Gutiérrez. I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Reyes
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
