I teach design and technology at Kikuyu Public School in Kikuyu since 1986. Most days I teach first-year students, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Rashidi
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

I'm a journalist now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Gangnam.
