Ms. Rashidi
24 years teaching music in Dar es Salaam
- 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Cedar Grove Secondary School

For 45 years I have been the music teacher at Cedar Grove Secondary School. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, my door is open at lunch.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Rashidi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Rashidi: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
