I taught Spanish at Los Angeles Secondary School in Los Angeles from 2013 to 2022. Most days I taught Year 7, and I never once raised my voice.
I ran the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

What gifts mean to Ms. Ramírez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
