I taught accounting at Holy Cross Primary School in Comilla from 2001 to 2009. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Ms. Rahman: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
