Ms. Rahman
Chemistry teacher at Rajkot Technical College, 2006 to 2016

I taught chemistry at Rajkot Technical College in Rajkot from 2006 to 2016. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 520 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Rahman
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Ms. Rahman: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
