Ms. Quiroga

Retired music teacher from Beacon Public School

  • 🇨🇴 Cartagena, Bolívar, Colombia
  • 1987 to 2019
  • Spanish
I taught music at Beacon Public School in Cartagena from 1987 to 2019. Most days I taught teenagers, and I never once raised my voice. Over the years I had 960 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I'm still learning every day.

More about Ms. Quiroga

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Quiroga: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
