For 21 years I was the home economics teacher at Mount Pleasant Grammar School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Quintero
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Quintero: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
