Ms. Quartey
20 years teaching environmental science in Tarkwa
- 🇬🇭 Tarkwa, Western, Ghana
- Tarkwa Academy
- 2009 to 2020
- English, Twi
For eleven years I was the environmental science teacher at Tarkwa Academy. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Quartey
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Quartey: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
