I teach art at Hope Public School in Jakarta since 1993. Most days I teach teenagers, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Purnomo
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Ms. Purnomo: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
