Ms. Purnomo
Taught music at Atlas Middle School
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Atlas Middle School
- 1996 to 2021
- English, Indonesian
For 25 years I was the music teacher at Atlas Middle School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ms. Purnomo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Purnomo: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me music in 2012 at Atlas Middle School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard Greetings from Los Angeles.
