Ms. Purnomo
Computer science and art teacher, Jakarta
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Phoenix Public School
- Since 1991
- English, Indonesian
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Purnomo
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me computer science in 2005 at Phoenix Public School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
