For 13 years I was the English literature teacher at Dayton Boys' School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
