I taught religious studies at St. Anne's High School in Oakland from 2016 to 2024. Most days I taught first-year students, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 400 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

If you were in my first-year students class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
