I taught economics at Columbus Primary School in Columbus from 1978 to 2013. Most days I taught first-year students, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 1,720 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
