Ms. Popoola
English literature teacher at Ikeja Boys' School, 2008 to 2025
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Boys' School
- 2008 to 2025
- English, Yoruba
I taught English literature at Ikeja Boys' School in Ikeja from 2008 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 540 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Popoola
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
