I teach economics at Pioneer Primary School in Los Angeles since 2008. Most days I teach Year 9, and I never turn anyone away.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Ms. Pineda: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
