Ms. Phadke
History teacher at Mumbai High School, 1978 to 2004
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Mumbai High School
- 1978 to 2004
- English, Gujarati
I taught history at Mumbai High School in Mumbai from 1978 to 2004. Most days I taught Year 9, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Phadke
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Ms. Phadke: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
