I teach economics at Riverside Technical College in Polokwane since 1980. Most days I teach Grade 11, and my door is open at lunch.
I've run the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Petersen
If you were in my Grade 11 class, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

What gifts mean to Ms. Petersen: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
