I teach design and technology at San Francisco Secondary School in San Francisco since 2007. Most days I teach first-year students, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ms. Perez
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Perez: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
