I taught social studies at Maple Ridge Primary School in Fresno from 1978 to 2007. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

What gifts mean to Ms. Pérez: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
