I teach environmental science at Raleigh Academy in Raleigh since 2017. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I never turn anyone away.
I've run the drama society after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Peña
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Peña: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
