Ms. Peña
12 years teaching art in Nashville
- 🇺🇸 Nashville, Tennessee, United States
- Nashville Primary School
- Since 1981
- English
For 45 years I have been the art teacher at Nashville Primary School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Peña
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me art in 1983 at Nashville Primary School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Thank you again.
