Ms. Payne
Environmental science and special education teacher, San Francisco
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- 2013 to 2025
- English
For twelve years I was the environmental science teacher at Elmwood Public School. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Payne
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Payne: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
