I teach environmental science at Joliet Primary School in Joliet since 1995. Most days I teach Grade 4, and I learn every name in the first week.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Payne
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Payne: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
