I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 27 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Patil
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Patil: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
