I teach chemistry at Kolkata Academy in Kolkata since 1983. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
Over the years I've had 950 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
