I teach English literature and environmental science at Jalandhar Middle School, Jalandhar. I never raise my voice.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Parmar
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
