I taught music at Oakwood Public School in Zapopan from 1999 to 2015. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 820 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Paredes
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
