For 35 years I was the physical education teacher at Sacramento Secondary School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Ms. Palmer
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Palmer: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
