Ms. Padilla
18 years teaching English literature in London
- 🇬🇧 London, England, United Kingdom
- London Girls' School
- 1978 to 2011
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 33 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,680 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Padilla
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Padilla: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
