Ms. Padilla
15 years teaching English literature in Lexington
- 🇺🇸 Lexington, Kentucky, United States
- Hillcrest Academy
- 1989 to 2003
- English
I taught English literature at Hillcrest Academy in Lexington from 1989 to 2003. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Padilla
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Padilla: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
