Ms. Öztürk
History teacher at Westbrook Academy, Since 1991
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Westbrook Academy

I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,160 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Ms. Öztürk
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Ms. Öztürk: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
